The Radefy Presence Detector identifies whether guests are inside the room in real time. It allows hotels and rentals to automate energy usage, improve guest comfort, and eliminate reliance on outdated keycard switches or manual controls.
When connected to Centurion, the detector automatically switches the room to Energy-Saving Mode when no presence is detected. It adjusts air conditioning, heating, and lighting based on real occupancy—reducing energy consumption by up to 30–40% without affecting guest comfort.
Unlike basic motion sensors that react only to movement, the Radefy Presence Detector maintains accurate occupancy status even when guests are sleeping or sitting still. This prevents unwanted shut-offs and ensures a seamless, comfortable experience.
The detector sends live occupancy status to the Centurion dashboard, helping staff know when a room is empty for housekeeping, inspections, or maintenance. This improves operational timing, avoids guest disturbances, and streamlines task assignments.
Once installed and paired, the detector continuously reports room occupancy to Centurion. The system automatically applies energy rules, updates housekeeping status, and triggers room automation scenarios. Staff see real-time occupancy updates, and all events are logged—ensuring efficient, data-driven operations.
