Smart locks operate using Bluetooth and highly encrypted digital keys, allowing guests to unlock their room through a mobile app, a secure PIN access code, an RFID card, or even NFC tap-to-open. Once the lock is connected to Radefy’s Centurion platform, the entire access process becomes fully automated.
At the moment a reservation is received, Centurion prepares the lock in the background. When check-in time arrives, the system automatically activates the lock, generates the guest’s digital key or PIN, and delivers it instantly to the guest—no staff involvement required. Throughout the stay, all access events are securely logged, and at checkout the lock deactivates the guest’s credentials automatically.
